Keeping your pet comfortable in their own home
Why hire a pet sitter instead of kenneling when you travel? Pets are happier when they are secure in their familiar environments with their own smells, toys and uninterrupted routines, as well as avoiding unnecessary exposure to diseases carried by other pets. Keeping your pet at home when you travel is less traumatic for your pet and alleviates the burden of worry for you the owner. Hiring an experienced pet sitter provides added peace of mind that a caring person is watching over your baby and your home. Pet sitters provide more services than ever for you and your pet:
- Feeding the pets and changing their water bowls
- Providing exercise and play time (may include walking the dog)

About Casey's Critter Care
Casey Roos started Casey’s Critter Care as a way of providing a needed service to other pet owners and his dog, Quyana, is the inspiration for the business. Quy is an affable 13-year-old Staffordshire Terrier with a bad case of anxiety. She is probably the least terrifying (yet most terrified) pittie in the world. She’s afraid of so many things, but mostly she’s afraid of being away from the comfort of people being around her. She would have terrible anxiety when placed in a kennel and away from home. It meant that in order for her to be happy, she would have to accompany Casey on every outing, every trip, everywhere or he would have to ask friends to be her pet sitter.
Casey realized that maybe he wasn’t the only pet owner with this problem. For many owners, their pets are not suited to kenneling - health concerns, breed policies, anxiety - and they are either stuck trying to find a friend to watch their pets or having to take them along. A better solution is to provide the comforts of home in their own home and have a knowledgeable, caring, experienced sitter to watch over them.
Casey moved to New Mexico in 2015 from Fairbanks, Alaska, where he worked alongside friends in dog mushing kennels and gained experience with handling many types of animal situations. Casey also grew up in a farming communities in Nebraska, and spent many years on his grandparents’ working farm and is familiar with taking care of all types of animals.
